Cost & Getting Started.
Medicare Clients
If your Doctor has referred you to see one of our Dietitians through Medicare’s Chronic Disease Management Plan, you may be eligible for up to a maximum of 5 visits per calendar year.
Private Clients
Payment in full is required on the day of your consultation and you may be entitled to receive a rebate through your Private Health Insurance Fund.
If you’re unsure about your entitlements, please call your Health Fund prior to seeing us and quote Item 500 (Initial Consultation) OR Item 600 (Review Consultation).
Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA).
If you hold a Gold Card you will not be required to pay for your appointment. Please see your doctor to arrange a referral.
National Disability Insurance Schemes (NDIS).
If you are a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participant your Dietitian service may be funded through the NDIS. Depending on your NDIS plan, services may be funded under Improved Daily Living, Health and Wellbeing or Core Supports (for speciality enteral feeding resources).
